Hope In The Lord
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Proverbs 1:33
God holds our lives in His hands. What great joy and peace we discover, once we realize that our future is full of promise and hope. This world can be a cold harsh place, filled with injustices and tragedy. Things may seem hopeless, but we cannot forget whom we trust and where our hope lies. God is our source, not the government, politicians or corporations. After all, who is the One who has established the nations and positioned those in power where they are? (Obey the government for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power.
Romans 13-1). We may have many questions and concerns, but we do not have to allow ourselves to become so overwhelmed and burdened, we become discouraged and lose our perspective of our place and purpose in this world. Instead, we take our concerns to God and trust that He will quiet our fears, giving us safe pasture where He has placed us.
