Permalink Reply by Travailing Spirit on December 10, 2008 at 10:23pm: they could have gotten there sooner, but they started to complain. somtimes we get our selves in trouble when we don't keep our mouths shut and don't complain. they were ungrateful, and didn't care what came out of their mouths. it took them longer because of disobedience. when we are disobedience and sin enters in it causes us to be distant from God. it wasn't God that had them in the wilderness, it was the theirselves (Israelities), and if you notice in the bible they died in the wilderness only the young people went in to the promise land.; ▶ Reply to This
